Don decided to try selling sun visors at the Rose Bowl swap meets. He came back with a whole load in the old trailer, and customers started buying them right at the entrance—putting their heads through the windows and following him to the spot. They were selling before the visors even hit the ground.
Kathy’s dad saw the load and asked what he paid. When Don said two dollars each, her dad went back inside and told Kathy she’d better get rid of them because the guy was crazy.
