Stant 27103 Thermostat Gasket for Cadillac Series 75 Fleetwood (1949–1962)

Fleetwood, 1949–1962

Cadillac was General Motors' flagship, and Cadillac owners have always expected the car to be done right, down to the last gasket. On the Cadillac side, the catalogs list the Stant 27103 for 7 models from 1949 to 1962.

This page is for one model only: the Cadillac Series 75 Fleetwood. It isn't a wall of every car ever made, just yours.

Help choosing the right gasket

The 27103 is a 3.25 by 3.5 inch thermostat gasket blank from Stant, the kind a mechanic reaches for when the original cut gasket for an older or less common housing is hard to find. Lay your thermostat housing on it, check that the opening and bolt holes line up with your engine's outlet, and trim to fit if needed. Stant cut a different gasket for each housing design, and Don stocks several of them, so check which number your car calls for.

Before you order, match three things: your year, your model, and your engine. Catalogs list fitment by vehicle, but some engines had more than one thermostat housing design over the years. If your old gasket is still in hand, compare its shape and bolt holes, or just ask Don and Kathy. They'll help you sort it out.

Real people behind the parts

Don and Kathy Leask have been selling obsolete and restoration auto parts online since 1997. Their eBay store, carparts2, was the second auto parts store on eBay. Over the years it grew into one of the biggest online sources of obsolete parts, with something like 11,000 to 17,000 unique parts listed.

These gaskets come from Don's own shelves, in original Stant packaging.

Price is $9.95 plus shipping.

Don and Kathy offer a fair deal for this. Buying for a club, a shop, or a whole fleet of project cars? Even better.
