Stant 27140 Thermostat Gasket for Fargo B200 Van (1971–1972)
1971–1972
Fargo trucks were Chrysler's truck brand for Canada, sold through Chrysler dealers. They were built on the same bones as Dodge trucks, with their own badges. Don grew up in Saskatchewan, so a Canadian truck brand has a real home in this shop.
This page is for one model only: the Fargo B200 Van. It isn't a wall of every car ever made, just yours.

Help choosing the right gasket
The 27140 (also marked BB40) is a Stant Stat Lok thermostat gasket, made in the USA. "Stat Lok" means it has an adhesive backing that holds the thermostat centered in its seat while you bolt the housing down, so there's no gasket cement, no thermostat falling out, and less risk of cracking the outlet flange. Its sister parts, the 27150 and 27167, fit different engine families, so check which number your car calls for.
Before you order, match three things: your year, your model, and your engine. Catalogs list fitment by vehicle, but some engines had more than one thermostat housing design over the years. If your old gasket is still in hand, compare its shape and bolt holes, or just ask Don and Kathy. They'll help you sort it out.
Real people behind the parts
Don and Kathy Leask have been selling obsolete and restoration auto parts online since 1997. Their eBay store, carparts2, was the second auto parts store on eBay. Over the years it grew into one of the biggest online sources of obsolete parts, with something like 11,000 to 17,000 unique parts listed.
These gaskets come from Don's own shelves, in original Stant bags marked Made in USA.
Price is $9.95 plus shipping.
Don and Kathy offer a fair deal for this. Buying for a club, a shop, or a whole fleet of project cars? Even better.
