The 27147 is a Stant thermostat gasket on a BB 47 card: a white, nearly square gasket with four bolt holes and a large round center opening, packed with a second, smaller oval gasket that has a center hole and two bolt holes. Stant's 271xx gaskets are the single packs of its 251xx numbers (Stant's own catalog pairs, for example, 25148 with 27148 "1 Pack"), and the BB 47 on this card matches Stant's B47 code. The vehicle list here comes from the Gates 33630 catalog listing, which names Stant 25147 and B47 as its interchange. Neither Stant's printed catalogs nor any seller we found list the 27147 itself, so treat the list as a lead, not a guarantee.
Before you order, match three things: your year, your model, and your engine. Measure before you order: Gates lists a 2.22 inch hole for this gasket, and Motorad lists 2.20 inches inside and 2.95 inches outside for its version. Set your thermostat housing (or your old gasket) on the photo and make sure the opening and bolt holes line up. If you're not sure, just ask Don and Kathy. They'll help you sort it out.
Not the same as the 27148 or 27150. Don stocks several neighboring Stant numbers. Each one is cut for a different housing, so check the number your car calls for.
