Stant 27152 Thermostat Gasket (BB 52) – Original Stant Packaging, from Don's Own Shelf

Keep your car or truck on the road with a genuine Stant 27152, the Stant thermostat gasket that interchange listings tie to 1965–1967 Jeep Gladiator and J-series trucks and 1965 American Motors Ambassador, American and Classic with the 3.8L six. The gasket is a black gasket with a large round center opening, three bolt holes and a small square tab.

Compatible Makes & Models (from parts-catalog interchange listings)

Note: Always verify fitment for your specific year, make, model and engine, then match the opening and bolt holes. If you have your old gasket, compare it with the photo, or just ask Don and Kathy.

Help choosing the right gasket

The 27152 is a Stant thermostat gasket on a BB 52 card: a black gasket with a large round center opening, three bolt holes and a small square tab. Stant's 271xx gaskets are the single packs of its 251xx numbers, and the BB 52 on this card matches Stant's B52 code. Motorad's catalog names Stant 27152 directly as an interchange for its MG52 gasket, and Gates, Fel-Pro and Motorad all tie the same gasket to Stant 25152 and B52. The vehicle list here comes from those interchange listings, not from a Stant catalog, so treat it as a strong lead, not a guarantee.

Before you order, match three things: your year, your model, and your engine. Measure before you order: the catalogs list a hole of about 1.63 to 1.64 inches and three bolt holes. Set your thermostat housing (or your old gasket) on the photo and make sure the opening and bolt holes line up. If you're not sure, just ask Don and Kathy. They'll help you sort it out.

Not the same as the 27132 or 27153. Don stocks several neighboring Stant numbers. Each one is cut for a different housing, so check the number your car calls for.

Real people behind the parts

Don and Kathy Leask have been selling obsolete and restoration auto parts online since 1997. Their eBay store, carparts2, was the second auto parts store on eBay.

These gaskets come from Don's own shelves, in original Stant packaging.

Price is $9.95 plus $3.00 for shipping.

Don and Kathy offer a fair deal for this. Buying for a club, a shop, or a whole fleet of project cars? Even better.

At present I have a total of 8 of these Stant thermostat gaskets number 27152 if you want more even some with different numbers let's talk.
